This is why I will work tirelessly to support legislation that strengthens law enforcement, promotes community policing, and enhances public safety measures.
I am a strong proponent of requiring all police officers to receive mandatory verbal de-escalation training that will prevent the unnecessary use of force and will promote peaceful resolutions. Additionally, I believe in responsible gun ownership through comprehensive background checks and education programs.

Healthcare
I am committed to leading the fight for accessible and affordable healthcare for the uninsured and seniors in our community. Mental Health
I am committed to leading the fight for adequate resources and support for mental health services in our community. Did you know that approximately 1 in 5 adults in Georgia experience mental illness each year, yet only half of them receive the necessary treatment? This is unacceptable.
I will work to increase funding for mental health programs in the area our state where mental health services are often underfunded and inaccessible. By advocating for policies that prioritize mental health initiatives and increase access to counseling and therapy services, we can address the mental health crisis in our state. Together, let's build a future where mental wellness is a top priority and everyone has access to the care and support they need.
